Summer Camp at St Paul, Dadar

At the Summer Camp at St Paul Church, Dadar, 45 parish kids of all faiths joined in a variety of games that was organised to 'beat the heat' for ‘the young ones’ of Dadar for three long and enjoyable weeks.

To make the Camp more dynamic, four teams were formed - Batman, Superman, Spiderman and Ironman. The youth group of St Paul's is a big fan of Marvel and DC. Two youth were kept in charge of each team. A total of 17 youth volunteered at the Summer Camp, and were very determined to make this a big hit for the kids.

There were telegames, indoor games, water games, relays, tournaments etc. which indeed kept every child on his/her feet. Screaming, running, cheering, jumping, healthy fights and a lot more were the fun moments of the Camp. Importantly, values were taught to the kids, such as Selflessness, Respect, Patience, Love, and to have a ‘never give up attitude’, were beautifully explained and showcased to the kids, through enriching sessions every week. The life of a saint who possessed that value was also shared.

Daryamata Fest 2018

The annual feast of Our Lady of the Sea was celebrated on May 13, 2018 with great devotion and zeal at Madh Island. The three-day novena began with a procession of the statue of Our Lady around the village, followed by Holy Mass. After Mass, there was a fun fair, organised by the PPC and youth of the parish. There were food stalls put up by the zones, offering a variety of mouth- watering home-made dishes. Mr Aslam Sheikh, MLA and Mr Gopal Shetty attended the programme, and were happy to see the youth actively participating and organising the function. There were dances, skits, games, a fashion show, entertainment rides and various programmes spread across the four-day celebration. >>>
